Acciocast.:mini # 1 Transcript

Dumbledore: Welcome, welcome to another year at Hogwarts.

Harsh: Hello and welcome to Acciocast.:mini.

Harsh: Acciocast.:mini is weekly podcast, its just a small 5-6 minute podcast where we discuss the latest news and a small discussion on the most important news of the week.  Hello I'm Harsh, the webmaster and I will be in almost every single episode of Acciocast.:mini.

Harsh: Starting with the news:
First of all I would like to wish my co-webmaster, Suman a very happy birthday, he celebrated his birthday yesterday on...23rd December 2007, he is now 17. Also it's an honour tell you that hpbeyond.net and hpearth.com have now affiliated and have partnership in forums called Potter watch. See hpearth.com/forums for more information.

Now the most important news of this month is that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray has released in UK, US, Australia and almost full of the world except France.
First it released in Argentina on...October 24th or 31st, its still unconfirmed, than it came in many other places and of 12th of November it released in the UK and the 14th in Australia. Now...after a very long time approximately a month it released in the US on December 11th 2007. I will also review the DVD after telling you all the latest news.

Now with the second news J. K. Rowling auctioned Beetle and the Bard for 3.98$ million that's approximately £<2 million to no one else but Amazon.com you can check out the summary which Amazon has given about the book on Amazon, we have also given the link on HPearth, don't worry.

Little bad news now, if you bought the Blu-ray 1-5 gift set from the US, please check the Goblet of Fire Blu-ray disc does not contain the HD DVD and if you have bought the HD DVD, please check that it does not contain Blu-ray. There's a mixture of the CD's being done now days. Warner Bros. is the only one that supports HD DVD and Blu-ray, God knows why? While others support either of them. I advice you to buy the DVD, don't need to waste so much money, later on lets see who wins HD DVD or Blu-ray.

Next, now J. K. Rowling has been named among MSN's most influential women of 2007. Now we also have that Emma is speaking something about Ballet shoes, you can see the Telegraph article. Then, a new poll on the wizarding world of Harry Potter website, It says the : Which of the Following would you like to see: The Hog's Head, The Three broomsticks or Honeydukes.

J. K. Rowling also has update her official website in her news section, where she talks of the reaction of the large amount of sum of money in auction of her The Tales of the Beetle and the Bard which has gone for charity to no one else than....The Children's Voice.

Also the Biography channel has a special video shown on has six part episode which can be seen on youtube which is on Harry Potter Kids. Soon there will be J. K. Rowling documentary which will shown on TV in the UK, the trailers...are available on the internet, please look at them.

Going on with the DVD review. Well I'm in India and I have the Indian DVD from Saregame Home Video, the distributor of Warner Bros. home video's DVDs and VCDs. Well the DVD is the same for the UK, US, India and the world, except its a little bit difference in the US is that the Half-Blood Prince external clip is little more and a bit different than the UK one. France and Korea will be receiving the 3-Disc edition also. Now let look at the DVD. Look wise it's OK, not that great as Prisoner of Azkaban and best was Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. The DVD back is the same for the US, UK, India and the world. The cover that I have is different than you people in UK and US, they a nice shinny cover which you have all seen on the net. You can see my cover its just the poster which says 2-Disc Special Edition. Now the First disc, movie quality very good, movie excellent 4 and 1/2 stars on 5. Just a little bit bad, that's the second disc is not so good.

First Disc: The movie is very clear and very nice, Umbridge look excellent.

Harsh (imitating Umbridge): The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance. Although each headmaster something new to this historic school...progress for the sake progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved...perfect what can be perfected...and prune practices that ought to be prohibited. HE HE (giggles).

Voices from the Movie:

Claps.

Dumbledore: Thank your Professor Umbridge. That really was most illuminating

>Ron: Illuminating? What a load of waffle?

Harry: What's it mean?

Hermione: It means that Ministry's interfering at Hogwarts.

Harsh: Well got a look at me making the voice of Umbridge. How was it? Please do tell me. Next, I will now review the second disc. Disc two this time is not good, nothing special, a little few 9 additional scenes which go for ten minutes. First scene is Trelawney eating...than they are just walking around and...than just doing nothing and there is scene when Harry goes to Dumbledore's office and...Harry and Ron are talking...than Trelawney and Umbridge where Umbridge is investigating Trelawney and nothing so great. Well they could have put a little few scenes and...yes there is another scene what they could have put, where Neville tells Seamus that My grand mom had stopped the subscription to the Daily Prophet, who is all rubbish...does not support Harry Potter.

Thank you for listing to Acciocast.:mini, see you next week this Saturday on that's...29th of this month.

Merry Christmas to of you all and a very happy new year. See you next time on Acciocast.:mini.

Dumbledore: Another year gone.
